Need a Web Presence but don’t have a Website and/or No Budget? By: Karina Singer

Need a Web Presence but don’t have a Website and/or No Budget?
Tips for building your web presence without a “web” budget.
Most directories on the internet will let you add your business listing forFREE!
There are large directories such as YP.com and Superpages.com and smaller industry specific directories as well.
The first thing you need to do is search for your keywords on the top three search engines, GoogleYahoo, and Bing. Scroll through the results that appear and find the ones that are not real businesses but directories that list businesses.
For example; MerchantcircleYelpInsiderpagesLocal, to name a few.
When you click on the links for these directories, you will be able to search for your business name and either claim your business listing or create a business listing if you are not already listed.
The key to creating free listings is to include as much information as possible about your business. Any services you offer, brand names, amenities, things that separate you from your competition. Be specific, be detailed, and most importantly be “key word rich”. (use as many keywords as possible while still making sense.) The key to getting found is relevance, so don’t put in a bunch of things that do not pertain to your business because you think you will come up more often; you won’t.  You will come up less under your most important keywords.
To get you started I have added some links that will take you straight to the “add your business” page on several major directories.
Bing
PS. ALL of these sites also offer paid products. They will try to sell you but just say NO! You can get a lot for your free listings and once you start making money, set aside an advertising budget and give me a call.
